Swimming with your baby

Swimming with your baby can bring a lot of fun for the family. Most babies will enjoy the feeling and experiences in the water and they can get an early start on learning about safety and skills in the water.

There are certain things you may need to know before taking your baby for a swim. First swim can start anytime as soon as the parents are comfortable. At the age of 6-12 months, the goal is to keep baby and parents to be comfortable in the water. It is always a good idea to introduce baby to the water at an early stage, to make them accustomed with the pool. However, baby and children should have full adult supervision in the pool at all times.
